KMUZ is going for the gold!

Because of you, KMUZ continues to bring you hand-made and home grown local radio. KMUZ is primarily listener supported. That’s why we ask you three times a year to donate.

Our Winter Pledge Drive starts Saturday, February 3rd and runs through Friday, February 9th. We need you to help us reach the gold! That is 9,000 dollars.

As we continue to grow, so does our operating costs. The governing board recently purchased our translator license (which allows us to broadcast at 100.7 FM). That “lease to purchase” achievement increases our monthly bills a bit, but the value of owning the license is big. We’re more stable than ever!

We have plans to increase our power and capacity to make KMUZ stronger and more reliable. As we work with foundations to do this, we need to show community support. That’s you again!

If you’re a sustaining donor – great! Consider increasing your monthly giving or make an additional pledge during the drive. If you are a regular pledger – increase the amount by 10%. If you’ve never donated before – do it this drive. And encourage one other person to join you.

It feels good to know your donation helps build community through the power of radio.

Pledge BEFORE THE DRIVE and be aKMUZ Ambassador” – lead the way to meet our goal. Donate before Feb 9th from the website, and we’ll acknowledge you on the air.

During the drive, call 503.990.6101 between 8am-10pm. Or pledge online anytime.

All pledges $50 or more will get you one of these vintage premiums – cup or ball cap:
